NORFOLK - Abraham "Al" Littman, 83, passed away Nov. 12, 2006 after a long illness. He leaves behind a loving wife of 47 years, Gail and their pet dog Chi Chi. He is survived by four children, Susan Barker of Palm Springs, Fla., Richard Littman of Virginia Beach, Gary Littman of Chesapeake and Steven Littman of Norfolk; seven grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
He was a World War II veteran, and an entrepreneur of many businesses but known for his neon glass work and teaching. He was a kind and giving man who always loved to put a smile on your face.
Graveside services with military honors will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery Tuesday at 3 p.m. with Rabbi Michael Panitz officiating. Following the service the family will receive friends at 110 Suburban Pkwy. in the reception hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sentara Hospice Program or to Jewish Family Services. The family would like to offer special thanks to doctors Provan, Alberico, Kreger and Klevan. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
