  GREENWALD, PEGGY HIRSCH 72, passed away at her home Monday, June 11, 2012, after a courageous battle with pancreatic and liver cancer. Peggy was a 1957 graduate of Atherton High School and was a life long Louisville resident. Later in life, she was a part-time resident of Longboat Key, FL. She also attended the University of Miami. In Louisville, Peggy probably is best remembered as one of the founding partners of Rita 'n Peggy's Choices, a jewelry and accessories boutique in Chenoweth Square for nearly 25 years. She was active in the community by volunteering with the Jewish Hospital Women's Guild and the United Way. She was a member of the Standard Country Club, the Longboat Key Club, the National Council of Jewish Women, and The Temple and Keneseth Israel congregations. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jo Loveman Hirsch and Lewis Hirsch, and her brother, Kenneth Hirsch. Peggy is survived by her husband, Murray, to whom she was married for nearly 53 years. They raised three children, Brooke, Bart (Deborah) and Brent (Heidi). She was also loved dearly by her grandchildren, Kyle, Kali, Kaidun, Charlyse, Joey, Avery, Walker, Tayson and Koldyn.
