Kitty lived at Texana Home in Richmond/Rosenburg where she loved people and was always cheerful. She had a firm belief in Jesus Christ as her Savior. Kitty loved Christmas. She also loved to read and do word search puzzles. She enjoyed shopping with her sister, especially in Galveston. Kitty had never met a stranger and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her dad, mom, and brother-in-law, Jon Gilbert. Kitty is survived by her sister Sarah (Sally) Gilbert, niece Florence (Ken) Kasper; nephews Jon Gilbert, Jr. and Charles (Jamie) Gilbert; 9 great nieces and nephews; numerous cousins and their families.
