  Adapted from the Times-Union, 12/4/1994: Gertrude Cohen Gallup, 90, of the Teresian House died there Saturday. Mrs. Gallup was born in New York City, and was reared in Montreal. She lived most of her life in Albany. Mrs. Gallup had been a salesperson for the former Whitney's Department Store in downtown Albany for several years. She also was a homemaker. Mrs. Gallup was a member of Congregation Agudat Achim in Schenectady, Temple Israel and the Independent Benevolent Society. She was the widow of Alfred Gallup, who died in 1993. Survivors include a daughter, Sally Goldstein of Niskayuna; a brother, Nathan Cohen of Albany; and two grandchildren.
