• Notes

  New Smyrna Beach Arost, Ivin 85, of Maggie Valley, NC passed away at home on March 10, 2014. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 1, 1928 to the late Louis and Lenora Spector Arost. As a young man in New York he began his career in the produce business. In 1958 he moved to Florida and continued his produce business with his brother, Harold. He later formed his own produce shipping business called Hallee-Boy Sales in the Zellwood area of Florida and continued that business until 1996. Following his retirement, he and his wife Jo moved to New Smyrna Beach, FL and in 2005 they moved to the mountains of Maggie Valley, NC. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Harold Arost. Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Jo Arost; eight children, Vicki Brock, Lynne Anderson, Cindy Kapulskey, Lori Bluni, Sandi Varn, Hal Arost, Terri Adams, and Aimee Arost; fifteen grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/orlandosentinel/obituary.aspx?pid=170142451#sthash.7AXftKXj.dpuf
