  Mrs. Helen M. Pfeifer of Decatur died March 31, 2002. Mrs. Pfeifer spent a life-time doing things for others and never met a stranger she didn't like. She was a high school teacher, President of PTA's, Sisterhoods and Officers' Wives Club. She was married 69 years to a World War II pilot who was the love of her life. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Albert Pfeifer; daughter and son-in-law, Mickey and Phil Goodman of Marietta; three grandchildren, David and Joy Goodman of Duluth, Nathan and Jamise Goodman of Atlanta, Elizabeth and Sonny Azani of Marietta; and five great grandchildren
