  HIRSH, Paul A., 77, of Mechanicsville, Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Paul or "Pape" as he was called by his grandchildren, was a devoted husband, wonderful father and he cherished his two grandchildren. He dedicated his life to providing for his family. He could fix anything that was broken and solve the unsolvable. He touched the lives of everyone he met. He was a member of the Central Chesterfield Ruritan before moving to Mechanicsville and joining the Hanover Ruritan, where he served as President in 2011. In 2013, he was voted Ruritan of the year. Paul was a wonderful man who was loved dearly, is missed terribly and will always be cherished. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Peggy Hirsh; his daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Wray Bass; his daughter, Kimberly Webster; his granddaughter and "grandson-in-law," Kaitlyn and Cameron Meads; and his grandson, Ryan Bass. He also leaves behind two brothers, Frederick and Richard Hirsh; and two sisters, Elva Brown and Leslie Huddleston.
