My linkage is solely based on the family lore that Malka and Archie were first cousins. Where did you get the "old country" name of Peretze? Clearly, the name of our branch in Bialystok was PEREC. My grandfather Mejer's record is exact. Correct father, Aron, mother, Chana, and even grandfather Nissel! It finally gives a definitive bir th date for him of 1882. There is also a record for his brother Gdalia, as well as probable entries for Aron's son Jack, and a previously unknown child Neche (b. 1892, d. 1893). Have you found out any more about the mysterious Malka? Maury. Meyer's alleged birthdate in 1880 makes no sense. It appears that his age is off by about 10 years, since he was known to be the youngest of the siblings, and Simon was born in 1887. Most likely, he lied by "exactly" 10 years.
