  FEDER SOPHIE "DAISY", 99, born in Russia, the daughter of Isaac and Anna passed away February 26, 2003, and will be interred at Mt. Nebo-Kendall/Star of David Cemetery, 5900 SW 77 Ave, Miami, FL at noon on Sunday, March 2, 2003. As an infant, her family emigrated from Podala to flee the Czar; G'ma/Aunt Daisy was kind, had a great sense of humor and was much loved, respected and cherished by everyone; she was the loving wife of the late Solomon 'Dan' Feder of Miami, FL and NY, d. 1958; G'ma/ Aunt Daisy loved her family and was predeceased by her 10+ siblings; She is survived by her son Irwin C. Feder, RPh (Doris), of Coral Gables, FL and daughter Claire Chase (Glean) of NY, grandsons Gary N. Feder, CPA, (Nancy Tobin) of Miami, David B. Feder (Ellen) of Chicago, IL, Paul A. Feder (Heidi) of Miami, FL, and Dr. Howard Chase (Claudia) of NY; great grandchildren Erica Leventhal, Reuven, Avrahama and Moshe Feder, Stephen and Robert Feder, and Philip and Michael Chase, nephews Ira Factor (Ludmilla), Ira Greinsky, and Stuart Dorman, nieces Claire Knippel (Bernie) and Florence Bonis (Henry) and many grand nephews and nieces and friends everywhere; Daisy and Dan co-owned and operated retail stores in NY and Coral Gate Pharmacy in Miami, and Daisy worked as a bookkeeper and secretary (including at University of Miami), in Miami and NY; she actively volunteered her time with many organizations including Hadassah, Technion and B'nai Brith, and was a Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend 'par excellance'; all who knew her would agree she made the world a better place.
