    • EVELYN KITZES, 93, of 66 Benefit St., died Sunday at home. She was the widow of Sam Kitzes. Born in Poland, a daughter of the late Solomon and Tybee Atkin, she came to this country as a young girl, settling in New York. She moved to Rhode Island in 1982. Mrs. Kitzes worked as a dress draper in the garment industry in New York City, retiring 35 years ago. She was active in the Zionist Movement and was a member of Hadassah, Histadrut in New York City and was a member of the Pioneer Women. She was a member of Temple Beth El and its sisterhood and .the Miriam Hospital Women's Association. She leaves a son, Dr. David Kitzes of Providence, a sister, Luba Abrams of Houston, Texas, and three grandchildren. The funeral will be held today at 11 a .m. at title Max Sugarman Memorial Chapel, 458 Hope St. Burial will be in Sons of Israel and David Cemetery, Reservoir Avenue, Providence.
