She was a member of Congregation Agudat Achim in Schenectady and a member and past president of the Business and Professional Women's Organization. Mrs. Westheimer was instrumental in assisting Jews escape from Nazi Germany during the Holocaust. She is survived by a son, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
