    • Sept. 4, 1993: Year of birth provided by sister ETHEL PEARSON RICHSTONE.
HARRY was a chemist by training and, among other things, worked as an effi ciency expert in a large laundry company. He did not marry.

At the time, ETHEL reported that HARRY is extremely sharp, has a great memory for details and should be an excellent source of information. BARBA RA will ask her sister ELISSA, who lives in ST. LOUIS, to contact HARRY a nd ask a series of questions relating to the family's emigration to Canada .

Dec. 14, 1993: BARBARA RICHSTONE mentioned that HARRY knew my father HARRY and "everyone else at Peerless Clothing." His sister BESSIE was the first wife of MOE SEGAL.

Dec. 13, 1997: Obituary in the Montreal Gazette indicated that Harry died on December 12th in St. Louis, survived by sisters Ethel RICHSTONE a nd Tessa KIRSCH GILDEN and many nieces and nephews. Buried at the Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery.

Rabbi Emeritus Schuchat of the Shaar Hashomayim officiated. He knew Har ry and recalled their ongoing correspondence and the way in which Harry se emed tor reach out to Rabbis where ever he went in his professional career. The Rabbi commented "Harry seemed to like Judaism more than Jews" allu ding to a pattern of behavior with which I am not familiar. It seems obvious, however, that Harry was a unique individual who marched to his own d rum.

The Rabbi also mentioned that Harry was an acknowledged expert in the indu strial laundry field and his consulting clients included, leading hotel ch ains, universities, etc.
