    • SHREVEPORT, LA - Mr. Clinton Warner Fuller, Sr. passed away very peacefully at his home after a lingering illness on Saturday, April 23, 2011. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Osborn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Osborn Chapel. Officiating will be Msgr. Carson LaCaze of The Cathedral of St. John Berchmans. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave.

      Mr. Fuller was born August 19, 1923, in Buffalo, New York. Moving to New York City at an early age, Clinton attended lower grades at Tome & Peddy, graduated from Andover Prep School and then attended the University of Pennsylvania until World War II. He left college and enlisted in the cadet program of the U.S. Army Air Corps. He became a B-24 Bomber pilot stationed in England with the 8th Air Force. Being an American and serving his country in war time was something of which he was most proud. Clinton loved all sports, but especially, liked playing golf at Shreveport Country Club with "Brenners Bunch" every Saturday and Sunday. He also loved nature was a great gardener and in later years, a bird watcher.

      After the war, Clinton met and married his wife of 63 years, Myrtle Canon Fuller and moved to Shreveport. Clinton was an agent for Nemours Energy until his retirement.

      Clinton was preceded in death by his son, Clinton Warner Fuller, Jr. of St. Pete Beach, FL; father, Arthur Dodd Fuller of CA; mother, Phyllis Fuller Pollitz of New York, NY and Hollywood, FL; sisters, Jane Stern of New York, NY and Ardith Roth of Jacksonville, FL; and a sister in law, Carolyn Canon Wilhite of Shreveport.

      He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Canon Fuller; daughter-in-law, Lisa Fuller of St. Pete Beach, FL; and a nephew, I. A. Wilhite of Baton Rouge, LA.
