  Steven Roy Burstock, 61, formerly of Havre, went home to be with his Lord on Jan. 19, 2013. Accepting Christ, he peacefully passed away after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. At his request, cremation has taken place and memorials will be held at a later date. Steve was born on March 27, 1951, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Herb and Maxine Burstock. After graduating high school in Commack, Long Island, he went on to get his master's degree in English communications. He married Sheryl Freier, daughter of the late Edwin and Viola Freier, in 1982. This union was blessed with two beautiful daughters. A businessman by trade and a golfer at heart, he had a wry sense of humor that marked his life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine. Survivors include his wife, Sheryl of Florida; his daughters, Kristi (Ozzy) Ozborne or Oregon and Keri (Caleb) Minnick of California; his father, Herb; his brothers Eric (Bonnie), Howie (Kim) and Brian; as well as many nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.
