  BOWMAN--Michael Edward, Jr. , known as ''Bo,'' died suddenly at age 39 on July 9, 2008 at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York City. He is survived by his beloved partner, Andy Wilcox; his loving mother Joan Cowen Bowman and siblings Jonathan Bowman, Derrik (and Margie Pivar) Hoitsma, Jim Hoitsma (and Pam Callander), Lisa (and Attilio) Hoitsma Favorini, and Teke (and Kristie Ramirez) Hoitsma; adored nephews and nieces Jasper and Sheyna Hoitsma, Jovi Federici, Cruz and Pilar Hoitsma, Sam, Katy and Molly Fulton; aunts and uncles Jim and Katie Peterson, Roberta Bell, Sue Porter and Constance Cowen; many cherished cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Michael Edward Bowman, Sr., and uncle Edwin A. Cowen, Jr. Bo graduated from Trinity-Pawling School in 1986; attended Vassar College and graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 1993. He was employed by MAC Cosmetics and also worked as a freelance make-up artist in the metropolitan area. Bo will always be remembered for his wacky sense of humor, unique interpretive dancing, ebullient writing and rampant creativity. His greatest gift was making everyone with whom he came into contact feel special. Bo was the kindest, most adorable, fun-loving, creative, loving man who has ever graced Manhattan (and Brooklyn).
