  Gene Sosin, 93, of White Plains, died peacefully on May 6, of complications from pneumonia. Ph. D. Columbia University. Former director of broadcasting, Radio Liberty; writer, lecturer, and specialist in Soviet affairs, he is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Gloria Donen Sosin; children Deborah Sosin of Watertown, MA; Donald Sosin and his wife Joanna Seaton of Lakeville, CT; grandchildren, Nick and Mollie Sosin.
