  Ilse Neugarten, 94, formerly of New York City and Bearsville, died on Saturday, July 8, 2000, in Napa, Calif. She was resident of Bearsville from 1961 until moving to Napa, Calif., in 1998. Mrs. Neugarten and her late husband Dr. Ludwig Neugarten were benefactors to Woodstock Fire Company No. 5 (Woodstock Rescue Squad), Maverick Concerts Inc., Northern Dutchess Hospital and Woodstock Area Meals on Wheels. Born Aug. 13, 1905, in Dortmund, Germany, she was the daughter of Joseph and Emilie Eppinghausen. Her husband Dr. Frederick Blank died in 1951 and her huband Dr. Ludwig Neugarten died in 1983. Survivors include a daughter, Inge Langham of Napa, Calif.; and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A daughter, Doris Gorin Ronald, died previously.
