  LOMASKIN, FRANCES, 93, was born in N.Y. on May 1, 1920. She attended Hunter College and received a Master's Degree at Columbia University. She had been a Miami resident since 1952. She taught math for 19 years, mostly at Glades Middle School. She was a lifelong learner and was active for 25 years at UM in the OLLI program. She is predeceased by her husband, Ted, and son, Mark. She leaves behind her daughter, Mira Platt, of Hollywood; daughter-in-law, Amy Lomaskin (Mel Tenen) of Miami, and grandchildren, Bree (Chris) Lichtenberg, Teddy (Yanet) Platt, Jenna Platt, Miriam Lomaskin, and Todd Lomaskin. The world has lost a wonderful person and the family has lost their true matriarch.
