  Homer H. Bramble, Jr age 85, of Seaford, DE died on Friday, September 19, 2008 at Life Care at Lofland Park in Seaford. Homer was born in Seaford, DE on April 5, 1923, the son of the late Homer H. Bramble, Sr. and Lola Meredith Bramble of Seaford. Mr. Bramble retired from the Delaware State Police Force as a Lieutenant in 1967 after 20 years of service. He was an Army Air Corp veteran of WWII, serving in India and China. He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Seaford, Hiram Masonic Lodge #21 in Seaford and the Civil War Round Table. His enjoyments in life were spending time with his family telling stories, gardening, civil war history, family genealogy and friends. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Vera Holland Bramble; a daughter, Renee Hammond and her husband Ray of Seaford; 3 sons, Barry B. Bramble and his wife Judith of Cinnaminson, NJ, Robert Bramble and his wife Francine of Glen Allen, VA and James Bramble and his wife Sharon of Newport News, VA; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren also survive Homer.
