Born in McKeesport, Pa., Mr. Colbert was a resident of West Bloomfield prior to moving to California. He was a founder of Cong. Beth Shalom and its men's club and a member of Cong. Shaarey Zedek, Craftsman Lodge of the Masons and was on the board of directors of the men's health club at the Jewish Community Center. He is survived by his wife, Charlene; three sons, Jeffrey, Gregory and Alan; a sister, Mrs. Monroe (Dorothy) Gross; and a granddaughter.
