  BIRNBAUM--Florence "Florrie", who lived a joyous and love filled life passed away on August 10, 2015. She was born September 14, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of late Mary and Milton Alexander and wife of late Jerry Birnbaum. She is survived by three sons, Howard (Helayne), Lloyd (Julia), Jeffrey (Ariel); and 11 grandchildren. She graduated from City College of New York with a degree in Business and Brooklyn College with a Masters in Art Education. She taught fifth grade and art at PS 255. The host of the party, Florrie loved with her whole heart and brought happiness to everyone around her. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, friend and teacher.
