  SHREVEPORT, LA - A memorial service to celebrate the life of Cerf Hirsch will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 6, 2012, at B'nai Zion Congregation. Officiating will be Rabbi Dr. Jana L. De Benedetti. Cerf passed away Thursday afternoon, at the age of 94. His wife, Marion, preceded Cerf in death. He is survived by his daughter, Jan Pittman and husband, Kenneth; and nephews, Sylvan and Harry Friedman.
