  Chana S. Rosen, nee Slavita, of Highland Park. Retired Executive Director of the Midwest Region of The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, teacher in Israel and the Chicago Public School System and the author of Let's Go to a Ballet. Devoted daughter of Yitzchak and Rivka Slavaticki; beloved sister of Avram Slavaticki. Her parents and brother perished during the destruction of the Serai Shtetl in Lithuania. Loving mother of Avram and Ellen Rosen; former Rebbetzin of Rabbi Mordecai Rosen. Chana's sagacity and exceptional generosity of spirit will be deeply missed by a large and devoted circle of friends and family. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
