- Madoline Wolf Carr, 75, a retired real estate agent who was a vice president of the Montgomery County League of Women Voters and a member of the Maryland state board of the league, died of lung ailments May 22 at Holy Cross Hospital.
A resident of Silver Spring, Mrs. Carr was born in Cincinnati. She attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y., and graduated from the Central Academy of Commercial Art in Cincinnati. As a young woman, she was a fashion illustrator for department stores there.
Mrs. Carr lived in the Philadelphia area before moving to the Washington area in 1971.
From about 1973 until she retired in 1991, she worked in real estate in partnership with her husband for the firms of Schick & Pepe, Long & Foster and Shannon & Luchs. Most of her work involved residential properties in Montgomery and Prince George's counties.
She was a member of the National Association of Realtors.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Richard W. Carr of Silver Spring; a daughter, Linda Goodman of Jamestown, N.Y.; a brother, Myron D. Wolf Jr. of Cincinnati; and a grandson.. Wolf Jr. of Cincinnati; and a grandson.
