  -------------------------- Dale Dean Eggers March 31, 2009 Dale Dean Eggers, 80, of Sedona, died suddenly in Missouri while on business with his son Randen. During the early 1980s, Dale owned the El Dorado Rare Coin Exchange here. He and his second wife, Lois, married in Sedona 27 years ago. Dale, always active, enjoyed his real estate investments through the years. He leaves his sister, Dorothy Reis of Wisconsin, his wife, Lois, eight children, two stepchildren, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. ------------------------------------------------------- Dale Dean Eggers, April 15, 1928 - March 31, 2009. Dale Eggers, a former resident of Prescott and River Falls, was born in Iowa and moved with his parents, Louis F. and Isabella Dunigan Eggers to Prescott where he attended school. He worked as a first mate and pilot on the river and later at 3M before moving. During his eventful life, Dale lived and worked in Arkansas, Missouri, Wisconsin, Vail, Colo., Hawaii and lastly in Sedona, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Donald D. and David Eggers. Dale married Ruth Dopkins of River Falls, and while living here was the town Santa Claus. When his family moved to the Vail, Colo., area, he was Santa to President Gerald Ford. Dale is sadly missed by his present wife, Lois of Sedona, Ariz.; former wife, Ruth Moran of Colorado; six sons: Danton, Braiden, Randen, Wade, Lane and Aaron; two daughters: Robin and Dawn and their respective spouses; also two-stepchildren; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy (Ronald) Reis of Wisconsin; and countless friends.
