      Jennie "Nanny" Weinstein of Parksville and Pembroke Pines, Fla., died Thursday, November 7, 2002, in Hollywood, Fla. She was 98 years of age.
      The daughter of the late Frank and Anna Kanfer, she was born April 4, 1904, in New York City. She was the widow of Morris Weinstein.
      For 50 years, she and her husband operated the Sunrise Hotel and later the Weinstein's Bungalow Colony in Parksville.
      Mrs. Weinstein was a member of Congregation Teferes Israel Synagogue in Parksville, a life member of the Pythian Sisters Catskill Mountain Temple No. 238, the Liberty Hadassah and the Jewish War Veterans Auxiliary.
      She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Goldberg of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Herbert and Rita Weinstein of Liberty and Fred and Sylvia White of Las Vegas, Nev.; seven grandchildren, Joel Goldberg of Liberty, Anlee Mashburn of Miramar, Fla., Lois Weinstein of Liberty, Mindy Weinstein of Union, N.J., Shelley Faigenblat of Chatsworth, Calif., Robin Loehr of Moorpark, Calif., and Steven Weinstein of Simi Valley, Calif.; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Isidore Kanfer and Bennie Kanfer, a sister, Ida Forman, and a grandson, Bruce Weinstein.
      Graveside services and burial were held at the Teferes Israel Cemetery in Parksville on November 15 with Rabbi Marvin Goldman officiating.
