  SEIDEN, Elliot Calvin, 89, of Richmond, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Seiden. He is survived by his children, Steven Seiden and Barbara Mersel and her husband, Mickey; grandchildren, Aaron Weiss and Aime Seiden; and great-granddaughter, Isabelle Seiden. Elliot was born and raised in New York and joined the United States Army as a medic during WWII. Upon returning home after the war, he helped run the family business. He moved to Richmond, with his family, when he was in his 30s and went to work for the United States Department of Defense until retirement. Elliot enjoyed bowling as a hobby
