  SOLOMON--Beatrice of Detroit, New York, and Palm Beach died peacefully on October 10, 2011, at age 97. She was beloved wife to the late Sidney R. Solomon for 65 years; devoted mother of Susan and the late Bruce Waterfall and Steven and Lauri Solomon; grandmother of Spencer and Bonnie Solomon, Randy Solomon, Scott Straus and Sara Guyer, Jacquie and Brian Lederman, Kate and Michael Komorn, Jane Waterfall, and John Waterfall; great-grandmother of Hannah, Brandon, Ethan, Sadie, Zoe, Lyla, Solomon, and Zachary. One of ten children, she is survived by her brother Stanley Tananbaum. As the founder and owner of Jane Baum Interiors, Beatrice continued to work into her 90s. She had grand style, impeccable taste, and a sharp mind. She was one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
